Pavilion Dance South West is the strategic lead for dance development across the region, with a state of the art venue right by the beach in sunny Bournemouth, and an important national remit.
They are seeking an enthusiastic individual to fulfill this new role within the marketing and development department, with a focus on assisting with the organisation and promotion of fundraising events and research into trusts and foundations.
Fundraising Assistant (part-time) Pro rata £15,000 (£9,000 for 3 days a week), initially for 1 year
The role works closely with the Fundraising Coordinator to assist with the delivery of fundraising and cultivation events, and with promoting fundraising events and the charitable work of the organisation in general.
The role will also support the Head of Marketing & Development and the Fundraising Coordinator in researching trusts, foundations, companies and individuals to establish relevant background information and potential for receiving approaches for funding.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for arts fundraising and a willingness to learn on the job, be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and be self motivated and able to work flexibly as part of a small team managing multiple priorities.
The post will be based at Pavilion Dance South West’s National Dance House in Bournemouth.
