Following the Creative Exploration Series to date, a number of organisations from the environment and heritage sector have approached Quest to continue the discussion about the why’s and how’s of working with outdoor artists. As a result, we are investing in the development of opportunities which will explore the building of new relationships between artists and non-arts organisations. Through this work we will specifically track the opportunities and challenges experienced by both parties, and record the learning therein as case studies to share.
Proposals are therefore sought from artists based in the South West interested in two separate, yet related, ‘New Paths’ opportunities; working with Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Kingcombe Centre and The Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust Ltd.
We are looking for artists from a wide range of outdoor art forms to undertake a period of ideas development. Proposals should be made in response to the full call out available on Quest’s website and the Artists Brief, available on request. The artist’s fee will be £2,000 inclusive of VAT. Additional resources are available towards materials and expenses.
